Pictures are taken from either 35 mm slides which have been scanned using a high resolution film scanner
or high resolution digital photographs. The images are printed on a large format Epson printer using Epson ultrachrome pigment based inks and premium professional media paper. The resulting prints are as archivally stable as any other colour photographic method available today.
Prints are generally double matted using high quality acid free mattes and mounted on acid free foam core. Matte colours are chosen to enhance the photographs. Frames are plain black wood. Other frames (metal, different colours etc) are available by request. Framed prints are protected with non-glare glass.
Prints are sold unmatted, matted and mounted, or framed matted and mounted.
All prints are digitally signed and numbered. A maximum of 50 prints of any image will be sold.
Prints are available in sizes to fit matted into 8 x 10 (A), 11 x 14 (B), and 16 x 20 (C) inch frames. Actual print sizes will be approximately 5 x 7, 8 x 10, and 11 x 14 but will vary depending on the subject. Custom cut mattes will usually be required.
